Carson, Mrs. C.H. (Caroline)

Mrs. C.H. (Caroline) Carson

Caroline McKinley was born in Indiana around 1859. She married C.H. Carson in June of 1889. Her husband was involved with the library board in Marengo. They had one son, Clarence McKinley Carson.[1] Carrie Carson was a member of the Presbyterian church.[2]  She also served as the president of the Ingleside club in 1902-1903; there were fifty-five members that year. The club assisted with the library.[3] Mrs. Carson attended four years of college.[4] She survived her husband, and she passed away in 1940 and is interred in the IOOF Cemetery in Marengo.[5]
