Accession and Withdrawal Books

Accession Books were the records utilized by libraries to track the books purchased for and given to the library. They typically include information such as titles, authors, and publication information, as well as the date the book was added to the collection. The following is a list of libraries and their accession books available on the CLIP website.

A few libraries have also preserved their withdrawal books, which provide the record of when books were removed from the collections. These books will appear at the end of the accession book listing.
